11:23 Email and A Free Slice

A few months ago a person handed me a card about a new email service in Boston. They were offering to send me an email at 11:23am with deals for lunch and more. Of course, I signed up right away. A few weeks went by with no emails. But finally, they have been sending them on Mondays. Go to www.1123am.com to sign up. You can specify 4 different neighborhoods in Boston. Website says more cities coming soon so check back if you don't live in Boston.

One of today's deals was a BOGO at The Uppercrust Pizzaria on Newbury Street. I got 2 slices of Buffalo Chicken on Wheat for $3.82, the price of one slice. That is a great deal for a couple slices of gourmet pizza in the Back Bay!

Free Amp Energy Juice

On the way to the train tonight they were handing out free Amp Energy Juice. It is too late in the day for an energy drink so I haven't cracked it open yet. It looks pretty tasty though. No High Fructose Corn Syrup, so that is good. The 42 grams of sugar and caffeine would probably give you a good boost. Maybe I will give it a try in the morning.

3 more Freebies from Boloco

On Monday, Boloco posted the following on their FB page:

Since I had a recent pic of the free Asian Salad Wrap that I blogged about last week. I shot the pic off. I didn't really think it would count for anything but sent it in for the fun of it and because I already had a pic handy.

Free Shake from b.good

Free lunch at Boloco

I cashed in my reward points for an Asian Salad with chicken wrap at Boloco today. For every $50 you spend, get 1 free menu item. I had never tried the Asian Salad wrap before. It was delicious. Hit the spot too. I was quite hungry. And I spent all my cash for the week already, so the free item saved the day. I didn't have to hit the ATM or break out a credit card for lunch.

Well, I have definately been slacking on my blogging. I broke down and actually paid for an iPhone app to make blogging easier. Let's see if it works. Quaker Oatmeal Squares

I heard they were giving out these Oatmeal Squares at Back Bay yesterday. I was hoping they would come to South Station too. Got me 3 boxes this morning. I didn't think they tasted very oatmealy but they were good. Very crunchy.
